With 30 years in the special effects film industry, Stuart was the Prosthetics Designer on the amazing hit Cult Classic film Shaun Of The Dead and his other credits include Peter Jackson’s Braindead, The Piano, The Descent, Attack The Block, The Peter Serafinowicz Show, Look Around You and promos for Fatboy Slim, Squarepusher and Goldie Lookin’ Chain amongst others. Ad & corporate work includes that for Tussauds, London Underground, Nicorette and Wrigley’s. Stuart has worked for Millennium FX over the years on many projects including From Hell, Saving Private Ryan, The Tenth Kingdom, Strange and not to mention Doctor Who amongst others, since beginning as a trainee on Hellraiser. Stuart continues to work in the industry and also spends time tutoring at the world famous Gorton Studios; teaching the 7-week Makeup & Prosthetics Creation course, and parts of the Creative & Character Make-Up course.
Karen trained at the BBC in 1979 for 10 years and has impressively gone on to work as part of an OSCAR winning makeup team for "Elizabeth", and BAFTA-winning makeup team for "Shakespeare in Love”. She is also notably known for her work as a hair and makeup artist on One Day, and Phantom of the Opera, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Star Wars and the famous Game of Thrones!
Rebecca was meant to be studying fashion design but accidentally started her makeup career sixteen years ago with a part time job at a makeup counter. She has now travelled the world teaching makeup artistry in places like Hungary, India, LA and New York. For the last ten years, she has been backstage at New York, London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks designing and creating makeup for designers such as Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier.
The Academy of Makeup Director and Makeup Artist, Sara Hill has 19 years of experience in the industry working with many notable personalities, from Kanye West, Emeli Sande, Jack O’Connell, Grace Jones, to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and many others. Sara has worked for years at international fashion weeks for designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Ashish, Biba and Alexander McQueen. Sara Hill was the winner of best UK Makeup Artist 2012, Expert Makeup Artist of the Year 2015, and Beauty Icon award winner. She was also the UK trainer for MAC cosmetics and the National makeup artist for Laura Mercier. Her work has been featured in many publications; the likes of Elle, Marie Claire, Red, Valt, Fiasco and British Vogue. Sara also recently launched her own cosmetics line: Sara Hill Makeup, which is sold internationally and has been featured in Elle, Grazia, The Stylist, and is currently shortlisted for New British Brand at Pure Beauty Awards 2016.
