Television is a fun and exciting industry. This two-day course will give you an introduction into the makeup artistry world of TV and Film. Learn basic special effects makeup; recreating cuts, bruises and burns, learn how to work with film and TV scripts for continuity, and learn about the different job roles within the industry and how to get started. You will get an introduction in to working with high definition makeup, basic character makeup and what to include in your TV makeup kit. The age requirement for our courses is 17+ years old, and our one-to-one masterclasses are open to all ages.
Students practice on each other. Please bring your own brushes with you. Brushes are available to purchase from our studio. Dress code is casual. All students gain a certificate upon completion of the class. Please note this is an introduction course; if you are interested in fully working in the television industry you will be required to have professional training in make-up artistry and hair styling. You must have training in makeup artistry to take this two-day course. You can pay in full, or secure your space with a 20% deposit below, with the remaining payment due in full 14 days prior to course commencement.
